If you are booking on behalf of a business, school or other organisation, a separate proposal or service agreement may also apply.

You agree to use this website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:

- Use the website in a way that interferes with its availability or operation.
- Copy, reproduce or distribute protected website content without permission.
- Use our content, resources or branding for commercial purposes without our written agreement.
- Misrepresent your identity or provide information that you know to be false or misleading.
We may restrict or block access to the website where we reasonably believe it is being misused.
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always operate without interruption or that every item of general information will always be complete or current.

We may make reasonable changes to a service where necessary, provided that the overall nature and value of the service are not materially reduced.
5. Services involving children or young people
A booking for a child or young person under the age of 18 must be made or authorised by a parent, guardian or another adult with the appropriate authority.
The person making the booking is responsible for:
- Providing accurate and relevant information.
- Informing us of relevant educational, health, accessibility, communication or safeguarding needs.
- Providing any necessary permissions or consents.
- Informing us promptly if important information changes.
Parents and carers remain responsible for decisions concerning their child’s education, health and wellbeing. This does not remove or reduce our responsibility to provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
6. Educational and clinical disclaimer
Our services and website content are educational and informational in nature.
Although our work may be informed by neuroscience, psychology, education, child development and lived experience, Neuro-Ink does not provide medical or clinical diagnosis or treatment unless a suitably qualified professional is expressly engaged to provide a separately identified regulated service.
Our services are not a substitute for advice, assessment, diagnosis or treatment from an appropriately qualified medical, psychological, therapeutic or other healthcare professional.
You should seek appropriate professional advice where you have concerns about your own health or wellbeing or that of a child or another person.
If somebody is in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact the emergency services.
Nothing in this section limits our obligation to provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
7. Prices and payments
Prices will be shown on the relevant service or booking page or communicated to you before the booking is confirmed.
Unless stated otherwise:
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling.
- Payment is required at the time of booking.
- A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received and we have issued confirmation.
- You are responsible for checking the service, date, time, location and attendee details before completing the booking.
Payments may be processed by a third-party payment or booking provider. That provider may apply its own payment-processing terms and privacy notice.
Where an invoice has been agreed, it must be paid by the date shown on the invoice.
8. Statutory cancellation rights
Where you are a consumer and enter into a service contract with us online, by telephone or away from our premises, you may have a legal right to cancel the contract within 14 days after the day on which the contract is entered into.
You do not need to give a reason for exercising an applicable statutory cancellation right.
To cancel, email saleena@neuro-ink.ink with:
- Your name.
- Your booking reference, if available.
- The service booked.
- A clear statement that you wish to cancel.
If you ask us to begin providing a service during the 14-day cancellation period, you expressly request that the service begins before that period has ended.
If you then cancel after the service has begun, we may charge a reasonable amount for the part of the service already provided.
If the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, your statutory right to cancel may be lost where you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that the right would be lost once the service was fully performed.
Some activities or events arranged for a particular date or period may fall within an exception to the statutory cancellation right. Where an exception applies, this will be made clear before the booking is completed.
Nothing in our standard cancellation policy below affects any statutory rights that apply to you.
9. Our standard cancellation and refund policy
The following policy applies in addition to your statutory rights.
Consultations, tuition and individual appointments
If you cancel:
- At least 48 hours before the appointment: you may request a full refund or move the booking to another available date.
- Less than 48 hours before the appointment: the payment will normally be non-refundable, although we may offer an alternative appointment at our discretion.
- After the appointment has started or if you do not attend: no refund will normally be provided.
We may consider exceptional circumstances individually, but this does not guarantee a refund or replacement appointment.
Please arrive or join online appointments on time. If you arrive late, the appointment may still finish at the originally scheduled time.
Workshops, groups and events
Unless different terms are clearly displayed before booking:
- Cancellations made at least seven days before the event may receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than seven days before the event will normally be non-refundable.
- Where possible, we may allow your place to be transferred to another person or moved to a future event.
- Failure to attend does not normally qualify for a refund.
Some tickets may be booked through Eventbrite or another provider. Any event-specific refund conditions displayed before purchase will also apply.
Cancellation by Neuro-Ink
If we cancel a paid service or event, we will offer you:
- A suitable alternative date or service; or
- A full refund of the amount paid to us for the cancelled service.
We are not responsible for unrelated expenses such as travel, accommodation or loss of earnings unless the law requires otherwise.
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method within 14 days.
10. Safeguarding
Neuro-Ink takes safeguarding seriously and operates in accordance with applicable UK safeguarding principles and procedures.
If information is disclosed or circumstances arise which lead us reasonably to believe that a child, young person or adult at risk may be at risk of harm, we may share relevant information with an appropriate safeguarding service, local authority, healthcare service, police force or other appropriate authority.
Information will only be shared where we consider it lawful, necessary and proportionate to protect the person concerned or another person.
Safeguarding information and personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
11. Conduct during services and events
We aim to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
Participants must not engage in:
- Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or harassing behaviour.
- Conduct that places another person at risk.
- Deliberate disruption of a session, group or event.
- Unauthorised recording or photography.
- Sharing another participant’s personal information without permission.
We may ask a person to leave or end their participation where this is reasonably necessary to protect participants, staff or the proper delivery of the service.
A refund will not normally be provided where participation is ended because of serious or repeated unacceptable conduct.
12. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual-property rights in our website and materials belong to NEURO INK CIC or are used with the permission of their respective owners.
This includes:
- Website text and graphics.
- Branding and logos.
- Educational resources.
- Presentations and publications.
- Worksheets and programme materials.
- Training materials.
- Videos, recordings and downloadable content.
- Original methods, course structures and supporting resources.
Materials supplied as part of a service are for the recipient’s personal or internal organisational use only unless we agree otherwise in writing.
They must not be copied, sold, published, uploaded, adapted, reproduced, taught, distributed or used commercially without our prior written permission.
You may link to publicly available pages on our website, provided that the link is lawful and does not falsely suggest an endorsement or partnership.
13. Photography, video and recordings
You must not photograph, film or record a consultation, group, workshop or event without prior permission.
Where Neuro-Ink wishes to take photographs, video or audio for publicity, training or another purpose, appropriate information and consent arrangements will be provided.
Additional consent will be obtained where required for images or recordings involving children or young people.
14. Third-party websites and platforms
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Calendly, Eventbrite, JustGiving, social-media platforms, map services and payment providers.
Third-party platforms have their own terms, privacy notices and technical systems. You should review those terms before using them.
Using a third-party booking or payment service does not remove Neuro-Ink’s responsibilities for a service supplied by us. However, we are not responsible for the independent content, availability or operation of an external website that we do not control.
Donations and crowdfunding payments made through JustGiving are also subject to JustGiving’s applicable terms and refund arrangements. A donation does not purchase a Neuro-Ink service unless this is expressly stated.
15. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Breach of your statutory consumer rights.
- Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by that failure.
We are not responsible for loss or damage that:
- Was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
- Was caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied to us.
- Was caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
- Relates to the use of general website information as a substitute for professional advice.
- Is a business loss where you purchased the service wholly as a consumer.
Where a business, school or organisation purchases our services, liability and other commercial conditions may be addressed in a separate written service agreement.
Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights.
16. Privacy and cookies
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the website.
Please read both policies before submitting personal information through the website.
17. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a service, please contact us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and respond.
Complaints should be sent to:
Email: saleena@neuro-ink.ink
Please include:
- Your name and contact information.
- Details of the service concerned.
- What happened.
- How you would like the matter to be resolved.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and provide a substantive response within 14 working days where reasonably possible.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, website, business practices or legal obligations.
The latest version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes will not normally alter the terms of a booking that has already been confirmed unless the change is required by law or is agreed with you.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, although consumers may retain the right to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom where applicable consumer law permits this.
