Understanding the brain changes everything.
Neuro-Ink CIC exists to create education, workplaces and communities where neurodivergent people feel understood, supported and able to thrive.
When we understand the brain, we teach and support differently.
Different minds need different environments.
We bring together neuroscience, psychology, education and lived experience to make complex research practical, accessible and useful.
Built from experience. Shaped by understanding.
Across classrooms, leadership, consultancy and community work, one question kept returning: what changes when we understand the person before the behaviour?
Neuro-Ink grew from years of seeing children and adults judged by what could be seen on the surface, while the reasons behind their behaviour, learning, focus or emotional responses remained misunderstood.
For founder Saleena Bhoyroo, the same pattern appeared across schools, families and organisations: people were often being asked to adapt to environments that had never been designed with the way they think, process or experience the world in mind.
Neuro-Ink was created to bridge that gap, connecting what we understand about the brain with what actually happens in classrooms, homes, workplaces and everyday life.
Not simply asking people to adapt to the world around them, but helping the world understand how to adapt too.

Years in Education
Over two decades of experience supporting children, families, schools and communities.
Schools & Settings
Experience spanning schools, community settings, consultancy and educational media.
Measured Impact
Phonics screening outcomes increased from 30% to 82% within one term during a school improvement project.
Reconnecting Minds. Restoring Meaning. Rewriting Understanding.
Our mission is to help neurodivergent people understand themselves while helping the world around them understand them better too.
The principles behind everything we do.
Understanding
We look beyond behaviour to understand how an individual thinks, processes and experiences the world.
Inclusion
True inclusion means changing environments — not simply expecting people to fit into them.
Wellbeing
Emotional safety, connection and regulation create the foundations for learning, work and growth.
Strength
We identify what individuals can do and build from there, rather than defining them by difficulty.
Purpose
Our aim is not simply to help people cope. It is to help them build meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Practicality
Neuroscience only makes a difference when it becomes something people can actually use.

With more than 26 years of experience in education, Saleena has worked across more than 12 schools, community settings and media platforms.
After 12 years as a classroom practitioner, she was recognised by the London Borough of Redbridge for advanced teaching practice and expertise in inclusive and differentiated instruction.
Saleena has also spent five years working as an educational consultant on an international television platform, translating child development and educational research into accessible guidance for families.
Her work now brings together professional expertise, neuroscience and lived insight through Neuro-Ink.
Sometimes the problem isn’t the person. It’s the environment.
Too many neurodivergent people spend years trying to function within environments that were never designed with them in mind.
What appears to be distraction, disengagement or lack of motivation may instead reflect:
Over time, this can create a damaging cycle:
Neuro-Ink exists to interrupt that cycle.
Understanding before intervention.
We take a neuroscience-informed, human-centred and strength-based approach.
Understand
We explore what is happening beneath behaviour, performance or disengagement.
Regulate
We help create the emotional and environmental conditions in which people can function effectively.
Reconnect
We use interests, strengths and meaningful engagement to rebuild confidence and motivation.
Adapt
We help families, schools and organisations change the environment, not only the individual.
Build
We create pathways towards education, employment, contribution and a meaningful life.
The goal is not simply to manage difficulty, it is to create the conditions for people to grow.
Supporting people. Changing environments.
Our work reaches beyond the individual. We support the people, organisations and communities around them to create environments where understanding can lead to meaningful change.
Children & Young People
Helping children understand how they learn while developing confidence, emotional regulation and academic skills.
Parents & Families
Providing practical, brain-informed strategies for everyday life.
Schools & Educators
Helping educators combine inclusion, wellbeing and high expectations.
Employers & Organisations
Supporting organisations to recruit, understand and retain neurodivergent talent.
Communities
Creating opportunities for connection, understanding and participation.
A world where difference is understood before it is judged.
We envision a world where neurodivergent people are understood earlier, supported better and given the opportunity to build meaningful lives.
Neurodivergent people are understood, not mislabelled.
Support is proactive rather than delayed.
Environments adapt as much as individuals do.
No child grows up believing they are the problem.
No employee is placed under unnecessary pressure because their needs are misunderstood.
Neurodivergent strengths are recognised and developed.
Everyone should have the opportunity to build a life of meaning, contribution and stability.
People should not have to lose themselves to fit in.
Neuro-Ink exists to help neurodivergent people feel understood, supported and connected to confidence, identity and meaning.
Our work is about reducing isolation, restoring focus and helping people build lives in which they can learn, contribute and thrive.
True inclusion is not about fitting people into systems. It is about building systems that work for people.
